- Rouge Lifting its head now. The red color is still only in the stem, not in the leaves or petals. What will
the flower parts be? No other red ones have appeared. Other than color
it looks like a typical M. uniflora, not M. hypopitys.

- Small groups, halfway between the Rouge and Overview areas. First spotted today.
- St.Helens and Grande (background). The Overview area is three meters to the right (south).
- Nouveau and Nouveau2 (right)
Nouveau2 is a large cluster too, ca. twenty, but the plants are
smaller. From the angle of the Overview pictures, facing west, it's still invisible behind
leaf litter.
The
Rouge area is at the northwest, downhill corner of the overall
area of Indian Pipes, and the
Overview area is at the opposite corner.
